Studio Miniatures Sikh Wars British

Last weekend I completed some Sikh Wars British for Studio Miniatures and i have to say that I was highly impressed with the castings. They were clean, crisp and needed next to no cleaning up with a scalpel nor a file.

A pic of the mini's prior to priming:

With the sculpting being so well defined they painted up really well and they were a pleasure to paint. It's not often that I get to paint such exotic projects as this and the experience was interesting despite the almost Napoleonic appearance of the uniforms.

As for the size of them miniatures? Well they are slim though certainly not too slim, sort of on a par with Perry miniatures in both terms of height and bulk.

Anyway, without further ado, here are the pics of the models when the brushwork was complete and varnish added:

Hope you enjoy seeing them as much as I did painting them up.

Cheers,
Darrell.
