Warhammer Ancients Battles Campaign Weekend, Hundred Years War; Clash of Kingdoms. Warhammer World

"A Henry! A Henry!" My Front Rank Henry V. He stood in for Bedford on the day.

It's been 17 years since the 2009 Warhammer Ancient Battles Hundred Years War Campaign Weekend at Warhammer World but the memories linger on. I took on the responsibility of John of Bedford, lost every game I played but I dop not think I ever had so much fun playing wargames! It was just an all 'round weekend of excellence. Thank you Alex Buchel for writing the HYW supplement (I'm still very sad that it never saw the light of day) but at least we have a little bit of an idea of how it would been if published from the Clash of Kingdoms campaign booklet you gave out on the day.

The last game of the day was a doubles game- though I cannot remember who was playing! Argh!

3K of Middle Imperial Romans vs Early Sassanids. Great game. Very close.

Cheers for now.

  3. Awesome looking game (but then that is your "normal" after all!). Is there a way that that document can be obtained?

    1. I'm sorry no. It was given out by Alex Buchel (of Saga fame), who ran the HYW campaign that weekend and specifically asked the players not to reproduce it, nor copy it as he was writing the (never to be published) HYW supplement for WAB and it was very much GW IP. Yep, that GW IP crap again.....
