Palmyrene Armies Using Their Own Legionaries?

Hi, Is there any evidence of Palmyrene armies using their own Legionaries in the fight against Shapur I, or at anytime, or were they actually Roman Legionaries, trained under Roman discipline?

  1. Hi mate, as far as I know, when Emperor Valerian was defeated, the remnants of his army were likely placed under the authority of Odaenathus, who then fought against the Persians for about six years. I am building a similar project, and definitely I will include Roman IIIc. legionaries in my Palmyrene forces, but only when fighting the Persians, not Aurelian.
    Cheers !
