Roman General and Warlord Games Plastic Legionary! From 18 years ago!

After a conversation with a mate about painting up some of the lovely AD Miniatures Third Century Romans range, cast and sold by Footsore Miniatures I started to search for older Imperial Roman painting from the past. Unfortunately, my laptops tend to get overloaded and die and I was only able to find a couple of sets of images. One was a vignette I painted up for a friend some 22 years ago just after the publication of the Warhammer Ancient Battles, Spartacus supplement!

(I think this came free with Wargames Illustrated?)

So, in effect I found very little by way of inspiration for the AD Miniatures Third Century Romans but was very pleasantly surprised to find some work from many a moon ago!

Cheers
